Sunday, Jan. 9
The Patrick County High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) Club, in partnership with the Patrick County High School Fishing Team, the Patrick County Soil and Water Conservation District, and Fairy Stone State Part are collecting live Christmas Trees to help with the habitat ta Fairy Stone Lake. The drop off location is the Patrick County Soil and Water Conservation District Office at 104 Via Avenue, Stuart. Please remove all decorations before donations.

The Willis Gap Community Crime Watch meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Willis Gap Community Center. The topic for the meeting will be drug trends in the county.

Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) will hold a hybrid (virtual and in-person) Heavy Equipment Operator – Level One class from December 11 to April 23 every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The course is 40 course hours online and 32 lab hours. For more information, call (276) 656-0260.
Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) will hold a series of Learning Leadership Community virtual sessions every other Wednesday from Jan. 12 to June 22 from 4 to 5 p.m. 12 sessions $225, nine sessions cost $175, six sessions are $100, three session are $50 and individual session are $25.
