The Woolwine United Methodist Church Mobile food truck will be at the Woolwine Fire Department from 3-5 p.m.

The Meadows of Dan Women’s Club will hold a bingo night at the Meadows of Dan Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and games start at 6 p.m. Food will be available for purchase.

The Ararat Ruritan Club will host a barn quilt painting class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. which will be led by Lisa Martin with The Wormy Chestnut. The class is scheduled for Saturday, June 25. Pre-Register via email by 06/20/2022 to lisaorpheus@gmail.com, to ensure your template will be designed and ready for painting. The cost is $30 and includes all supplies needed to complete the barn quilt. The club building is located at 4711 Ararat Highway in Ararat, VA.
A Homeschool curriculum sale, sponsored by the Patrick County Home Educators, will be held at the Hooker Building at Rotary Field in Stuart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone who would like to set up a table to sell their curriculum must register to do so by June 18. The cost of a table is $10 and set up will begin at 9 a.m. Seller will supply their own tables and supplies and must clean up their area when done. Stuart United Methodist Church will offer The Circle of Hands from 1:30-3:30 p.m. the first and third Sunday of every month. If it is a holiday weekend, the meeting will be cancelled. Men and women are invited to attend the new group, which offers an opportunity to fellowship, and bring a project to work on or lean a new craft.
The Farm Market Fresh for Seniors is available through the Southern Area Agency on Aging (SAAA). Eligible seniors may receive $45 worth of coupons that can be used to purchase locally-grown fresh fruits, vegetables, and cut herbs at participating Farmer’s Markets. SAAA will take applications over the phone as supplies last on a first come, first serve basis. Individuals and couples wishing to apply for coupons must contact SAAA at 276-632-6442 or toll-free at 1-800-468-4571.
