Dozens attended the Twilight Memorial Service at Patrick Memorial Gardens on Sunday, May 29 to pay homage to fallen heroes during the service coordinated by the American Legion and the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.
Retired Lt. Col. Douglas Dunlap, U.S. Army, spoke about the history of Memorial Day at the Twilight Memorial Service.
Members of the Honor Guard and Honor Guard Firing Squad (back) honored those who gave their lives for freedom.
Chaplain and 2nd Lt. Thomas Walker honored the sacrifices of those who died fighting for freedom.
