Mountain Top Support Team Luau, 4:30 to 7 p.m., Meadows of Dan Community Center. Grilled ham and pineapple, baked beans, baked sweet potato, roll, homemade dessert, drink – adult $8, child $5.

 

Dan River Basin Association Dan River Clean Up, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bring canoes to assist with carrying litter/tires and kayaks for smaller items. Recommend minimum age is 12 years old. Should be accompanied by a parent or legal responsible adult. Dress for the weather and be prepared to get dirty. Volunteers receive a free t-shirt while supplies last. Let us know on Facebook if you are coming.

 

Bassett Highway 57 Cruise-In, 4 to 8 p.m.  Over 400 classic cars, trucks attended the May Cruise-In and over 400 classic cars, trucks attended the April Cruise-In. Tackfully Teamed Riding Academy will be the benefactor of the 50/50 ticket sales. This is a free event and everyone is invited.
