Virginia requires completion of pre-service training and assessment as a part of the approval process for all “resource parents” (foster, adoptive, respite, and formal kinship care). All adult household members must complete background checks.  More information about the process, including checks and other health & home requirements, will be reviewed in our first training session. All in-person sessions will be held at Patrick Henry Community College,212 Wood Brothers Dr, Stuart.
