The Patrick County School Board will convene a special session at 10:30 a.m. in the Patrick County High School Auditorium to re-visit the blended and virtual learning schedule. Anyone wishing to share their comments for the public comment period may do so via email at board@patrick.k12.va.us by 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 27. Mountain Valley Hospice hosts a virtual caregiver support group on the first Thursday of each month at 1 and 6 p.m. The support group is for families dealing with serious illness, such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, congestive heart failure, or COPD.
