The Red Cross will hold a Blood Drive at the Meadows of Dan Community Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, May 29

The second of six-monthly cruise-ins at the Lambsburg Community Center will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Granite City Rollers will provide music and concession and fifty-fifty tickets will be sold all evening. For more information call 336-648-2078.

LifeSpring: Resources for Hope & Healing will hold a DIY Spring Maintenance Workshop with hands-on demonstrations from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, June 2

The Patrick County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the county budget at 6 p.m. at the Patrick County Administration Building.

Saturday, June 5

Providence United Methodist Church in Patrick Springs will hold a free community breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The menu includes bacon, sausage, eggs, apples, gravy, and biscuits. The event is drive-thru only. The food pantry will be open for those who need of non-perishable food.

Wednesday, June 9

The Patrick County Food Bank will distribute food boxes from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information, call 276-694-6300.

Patrick Henry Community College will host an Introduction to Ardunio from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday in May. The course costs $104 and pre-registration is required by calling 276-656-5461 or by going to ph.augusoft.net.

The Patrick County Recreation Department is holding sign-ups for men’s softball. To sign up, call (276) 694-3917. The team fee is $300 and the deadline to register is Friday, May 28.
