HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE: free homework assistance for all elementary school children. Bring your textbooks and homework assignments, help provided by Dolores Nolan (a retired elementary and special education teacher), 3 to 5 p.m., Patrick County Branch Library, West Blue Ridge Street, Stuart.

 

THURSDAY, JANUARY 31

PAWS MEETING: animal lovers invited to the meeting, 6 p.m., Hooker Building at Rotary Field, Stuart.

 

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2

CASTLE BIRTHDAY PARTY: celebrate the first birthday of the Storytime Castle, 10:30 a.m. to noon; free. Stories, crafts, games, royal refreshments, medieval or magical attire encouraged, Patrick County Branch Library. For more information, call (276) 694-3352.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16

PCMA MUSIC: open jam 4:45 p.m., music by Sunrise Shadow at 6 p.m., Valentine Ladies’ Night Out at 7 p.m. featuring Melanie Bodenhamer, Fairy Coleman, Beth Smith, Jeanette Williams. Bring chairs, food will be available, Rotary Building, Stuart.

 

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22

BINGO: doors open at 6 p.m., game starts at 7 p.m., proceeds will go towards the Patrick Springs Park, 6 to 11 p.m., Patrick Springs Primary School, 75 Patrick Springs Elementary Lane, Patrick Springs.
