PATRICK COUNTY SENIORS MEETING: entertainment provided by Senior Melodies; 11 a.m.; John D. Hooker Building, Rotary Field, Stuart.
BUFFALO RIDGE CRIME WATCH MEETING: guest speaker: Steve Allen, topic: role as Emergency Management Coordinator, paid ambulance service, Special Ops and Hazmat team, training equipment, other assistance offered, and fire safety. 7 p.m., Sycamore Baptist Church. MUSIC NIGHT: concessions 5 p.m., $4 donation for admission, open mic at 5:30 p.m., Larry Sigmon and Martha Spencer with their unique sound of the mountains.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10
11TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY BAZAAR: jewelry, wooden bowls, quilts, candles, crafts, etc. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Rotary Field, Stuart. For more information, call (276) 694-5273. Proceeds to benefit Patrick County Alzheimers Group, LLC.
FREE MOVIE: “Free Birds,” family friendly movie, free, 10:30 a.m., Hylton Library at Spencer-Penn Centre, Spencer.
BINGO: “Thanks for Giving” Bingo, doors open at 4 p.m., games begin at 6 p.m.; all proceeds benefit Mimi’s Family Fund Endowment. VETERAN’S DAY PARADE: hosted by The Patrick County Veteran’s Memorial Honor Guard, parade begins at 3 p.m., starting at West Blue Ridge Street, turning down North Main Street. A ceremony will be held after the parade in front of the Patrick County Veteran’s Memorial building in Stuart.
OPEN HOUSE: food, music, door prizes, 1 to 3 p.m., Meadows of Dan Volunteer Fire Department and Vesta Rescue building, Meadows of Dan.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD DROP-OFF: items for Operation Christmas child shoebox drop-off, 6 to 8 p.m., Stuart Baptist Church.

ARARAT COMMUNITY WATCH: guest speaker: Valeria Hairston and Nancy Bell from Virginia Department of Health, topic: Patrick County Health Assessment.
