Benjamin Conner, a rising 8th grader from Meadows of Dan, was selected to receive the Meadows of Dan Elementary School Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Youth Citizenship Award for the 2019-2020 school year.
Benjamin exemplifies outstanding character and citizenship in all of his relationships with teachers, staff, and other students. He is being promoted to Patrick County High School with all A’s in his coursework, receiving the Superintendent’s Award from Patrick County Public Schools.
Benjamin has exceptional social interaction with his peers and a willingness to do his best work at all times.
Benjamin is an avid reader and joke teller. He is a talented writer who could have a career as a fantasy author one day. His hobbies include playing video games and caring for his dog. Benjamin is the son of Leon Conner and Elizabeth Whiteley.
