Jane Fulk, a member of the Ararat Rescue Squad, was misquoted in the story about emergency medical services (EMS) in last week’s paper.
Fulk suggested that the county pay $40 per call for an advanced life support (ALS) provider, $20 per call for an emergency medical technician (EMT) and $10 for an ambulance driver.
Those are not the stipends her squad pays now, as we incorrectly reported, Fulk said.
