Cougar Cross Country competes in championship

The Cougar Cross Country Team travelled to the Smith River Complex on October 26 to compete in the Piedmont District Championship.

Both Boys and Girls Varsity teams were 4th place finishers.

The Middle School Boys finished 2nd. In the Boys Race, Moises Cisneros finished 4th and Riley Brim finished 9th.

In the Girls Division, Sadie Martin finished 6th, Irene Smith placed 8th, and Chloie Wright was the 11th place finisher.

In the Middle School Race, Will Turner finished 5th, Greely Terry was 6th, Mason Cassell was 8th, Hunter Martin placed 9th, and Noah Hiatt was the 10th finisher.

Callie Wood finished 1st for the girls.

Both Boys and Girls Varsity teams will be back in action next Wednesday, November 3  in the Region 2C Championship.
