LTC Douglas E. Dunlap, U.S. Army (Ret.) was the guest speaker at Cub Scout Pack 69’s Webelos II Den recent meeting. LTC Dunlap assisted the scouts in the Building a Better World requirement.

The scouts learned about United States flag history, how to properly display the flag in public, rights and duties of a citizen, being loyal to our country, and the “rule of law” and how it applies in their everyday life.

The scouts are in the process of earning their Arrow of Light Rank, the highest award in Cub Scouting. Throughout the year, they will work on outdoor skills, physically fitness, and learn more about citizenship and working with others
