Mark your calendar now for the Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group ‘Shall We Dance,’ an energetic, passionate, and unforgettable performance.
The fundraising event will be held on Saturday, June 24th at the Star Theatre in Stuart. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 per person. The show starts at 7 p.m., but guests are advised to arrive early.
All of the proceeds are earmarked to support the Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group.
La Nota House of Dance will be hosting the dance event, in conjunction with the Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group.
The dance troupe gathered local community members together and taught them various dances to present a one of kind dance show.
Some may be recognizable from other events, and some are joining for the first time.
La Nota teachers and dancers have dedicated countless hours to create spectacular performances that will be sure to keep you one the edge of your seat.
Each performance is both fun and meaningful, bringing out the culture, history, and excitement of each dance. You will see the playfulness of the mambo, the elegance of the foxtrot, and the carnival party of the samba just to name a few.
The Alzheimer’s agency has served the families and patients affected by Alzheimer’s in this area for many years.
Also, be sure to pick up a flyer at the show with news about upcoming classes.
La Nota House of Dance will be starting dance classes in September and there will be some exclusive specials.
Advance tickets can be purchased at Honduras Coffee or call (276) 698-2901.
