David Lee Kendrick, age 63 of Patrick Springs, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born in Martinsville on December 16, 1959, to the late Curtis Clayton Kendrick, Sr. and Pauline Bocock Kendrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Kendrick. He was the owner/operator of David Kendrick General Hauling. He enjoyed woodworking and Karate.

Surviving is his wife, Cindy Waller Kendrick of the home; one son, Nicholas Kendrick of Patrick Springs; two step children, Jessica Ratliff of Patrick Springs, David Ratliff and wife, Carrie of Patrick Springs; five step grandchildren, Skyler Conner, Trinity Conner, Brayden Conner, Camden Ratliff, Ava Ratliff; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton and Edith Kendrick of Patrick Springs, Chester and Debbie Kendrick of Patrick Springs, Freddie and Denese Kendrick of Woolwine, Rodney and Cindy Kendrick of Patrick Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastors Bobby Rakes and Freddie Bonds officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
