On behalf of the Patrick County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors and Staff; Wayne Clark, District Chairman presented Joshua Dodson, USDA/NRCS (formerly Soil Conservation Service)  Stuart Field Office District Conservationist, with a plaque of appreciation for his 8 years of NRCS partnership support to the Patrick County Soil and Water Conservation District and citizens of Patrick County.

The Patrick SWCD would like to wish Josh great success in his new position as Area Resource Conservationist in the USDA/Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Christiansburg Field Office. NRCS is an agency committed to “helping people help the land”—their mission is to provide resources to farmers and landowners to aid them with conservation. Ensuring productive lands in harmony with a healthy environment is their priority.

Please stop by the NRCS Stuart Field Office located in the USDA Service Center at 135 Stonewall Court behind Stuart Baptist Church along with the Patrick County Soil and Water Conservation District and Farm Service Agency with any questions you might have. (Photo by Sandra Heath)
