BREAKFAST: (free to all students) Monday: glazed doughnut; Tuesday: chocolate chip breakfast bar; Wednesday: sausage biscuit; Thursday: French toast sticks; Friday: orange muffin.
Cereal, toast, Pop Tart, string cheese, assorted fruit and juice, and a choice of milk are offered daily.
LUNCH: Monday: chicken fillet on bun or pork barbecue on bun, lettuce, tomato, coleslaw, French fries, fruit cup or fresh fruit, cookie; Tuesday: Italian pasta bake and roll or chicken pot pie, pinto beans, steamed broccoli, fruit cup/fresh fruit; Wednesday: Hawaiian ham with coconut rice with corn and bread, or corn dog, stir fry vegetables, glazed carrots with shrimp sauce, fruit cup/fresh fruit; Thursday: popcorn chicken or deli turkey croissant, corn, quick baked potato, lettuce, tomato, blueberry soup or fresh fruit, oatmeal bread; Friday: vegetable wrap or grilled cheese sandwich, vegetable soup, baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon sugar, fresh fruit.
WOW butter sandwiches (with or without jelly), toasted cheese sandwiches, chef’s salads, tossed salads and a choice of milk are offered daily. Whole grain bread is served.
Schools must offer food items containing five components (fruit, vegetables, grains, meat, milk). The student must select three food components, including at least 1/2 cup fruit, to have a reimbursable meal.
