Pastor Floyd and Sharon Dodson are honored to announce the engagement of their son Branton to Erin Hylton of Bronx, N.Y.

The bride-elect holds a bachelor’s of arts degree from Salem College, a master’s of science in nonprofit management from The New School University and a master’s of science in special education from Hunter College. She is presently a museum administrator in the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.

The bridegroom-elect graduated from Forsyth Technical School. He is a service advisor for Parkway Ford in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The couple became engaged on July 1, 2017 in Ararat, surrounded by 175 family and friends including Branton’s sister Danielle from St. Louis, Mo., and Erin’s mother and Aunt Jackie from Bronx.

Their winter wonderland wedding will be held at Davenport Mansion in New York on December 29, 2018. Branton’s father will be the officiant.
