Eve Matney Roberts, 80, of Patrick Springs, VA went to be with the Lord Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born to the late Wiley and Westine Branham Matney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Frankie Roberts, one son Ode Andrew Roberts, one grandson, Dallas McCoy and one great grandson, Morgan McCoy. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Harless Matney, Chaney Matney, Charlie Matney and Adam Matney, two sisters, Ada Matney Blankenship and Nadine Matney, two half brothers, Dewey Matney and Branson Matney, two half sisters; Margaret Blankenship, Deany Vanover, special nephew, Billy Ray Blankenship.
She is survived by three daughters; Janie (Bobby) Cabe, Ginger (Harold) McCoy, Gracie Holston, one son; Wiley Maynard Roberts. She has six grandchildren; Douglas McCoy, Matthew Roberts, Sarah Schaffler, Laura Jan Hughes, Alexandria Roberts, Kerstyn Holston, three great grandchildren, Daisy Jo McCoy, Sonny McCoy, Rosalyn Jae McCoy and one remaining brother, Daniel Matney to cherish her memory until we meet again.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Norris Funeral Services Chapel in Stuart. Burial will follow at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Lee Ashley
The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10: to 11:00 a.m. at Norris Chapel.
