The first ever Patrick County Farm Bureau Ag Expo will be held at Rotary Field on April 29 starting at 9 a.m.
Agriculture related businesses will have displays set up on the field showcasing their products and services. In the animal barn and under the big show tent, area youth will compete with their show animals—cattle, meat goats, sheep and poultry will be on display and in the show ring as they compete to have the prize animal of the day.
Food provided by the Patrick County Cattlemen’s Association will be available on site for purchase.
The Ag Expo is sponsored by the Patrick County Farm Bureau, Patrick County Virginia Tech Extension, Stuart Rotary and the Patrick County Tourism Advisory Council. Come out to “Experience the Simple Life” of Patrick County, see spirited competition by area youth showcasing their animals, browse the ag business displays and enjoy the food.
