The sounds of strings and the rhythm of dancing feet filled the air during the 2025 Old-Time and Bluegrass Music Competition held July 4 at the Vesta Community Center.
Patrick County VFW Post 8467 conducted the opening ceremony at the event where musicians of all ages gathered to showcase their talents at the annual Independence Day celebration.
In addition to the new Tractor Show, the annual event included contests in guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, vocals, band performance, and flatfoot dancing, with local performers earning top honors across multiple categories.
