Organizers said that 13,135 people attended the five-day FloydFest, held July 26-30 near the Floyd-Patrick County line on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Many festival goers gathered to enjoy the Buffalo Mountain Jam Saturday night, which featured groups that included Leftover Salmon, Keller Williams, Railroad Earth, Larry Keel, Xavier Rudd, the Shook Twins and more. A butterfly flame was a popular attraction. The propane-powered flame served as a light.
