The Patrick County Long-term Care Committee is sponsoring its free 28th annual Senior Health and Craft Fair Friday, Oct. 28. Seniors may come to the Rotary Building from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for health screenings, entertainment, samples, prizes, and breakfast and lunch.
Health screenings include oxygen saturation checks, blood-pressure readings, eye exams, fasting blood-sugar level checks and flu shots. Also, seniors may have their mobility devices inspected and walker tips replaced.
The exhibit hall features many booths, to include health screenings, nutrition, fitness, gardening, insurance, recreation, safety, financial planning, travel, retirement planning, chiropractors, massage, natural healing, balance testing, and the Reynolds Homestead Senior College.
