The Patrick County Master Gardeners have been busy preparing for the 10th annual Spring Gardening Symposium, titled “Master Your Garden.”
It will be held at Reynolds Homestead on March 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants will be treated to presentations by Judy Bowman, owner/operator of Wildwood Farm Daylilies, who will present “All About Daylilies;” Jon Vest, Virginia Extension Agent in Floyd County, who will present “Edible Landscaping;” and David Pike, CEO of Witherspoon Rose Culture, who will present “Rose Culture.”
Several vendors will also be present selling a variety of fare from herbal tea to mushroom growing kits and homemade hypertufa pots.
There will also be many exciting door prizes donated by local businesses and individuals.

Registration is $35 and includes a delicious lunch, drinks, snacks, chances for great door prizes and a fun informative day with fellow gardeners. Advanced registration is appreciated, however registration will be accepted at the door.
