• Does anyone have a picture of the old Liberty Literary and Singing School which was on the grounds where Liberty Primitive Baptist Church is today. It was organized in 1912?
There is a story on it in the Patrick County VA Heritage Book Vol. II, page 165. George T. Harbour was the music instructor and Joseph Burgart was the literary instructor. O. E. Pilson had his first teaching job at the Liberty School House around the time of World War I (1917-1919). If anyone has a picture of it to share, it would be greatly appreciated. • Does anyone have a picture of the old J. E. Hopkins Store built in 1925 in Buffalo Ridge when it was an automobile dealership.? It sold Star and Durant cars until the Depression of the early 1930s.
A young man is restoring one of the cars that was sold there and he surely would like to have a picture of the store when it was an automobile dealership.
