Gerald Ivan Martin Sr., 89, of Ridgeway, died Friday, July 15, 2016.
He was born January 9, 1927, in Patrick County and was a son of the late R. Wesley Martin and Hilda Biggs Martin.
He was a World War II veteran and was retired from DuPont
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Edna Stultz Martin; four children, Gayle Jessee, Linda Bradley, Gerald Martin Jr. and Tim Martin; three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Horsepasture Christian Church. Entombment was in the Roselawn Abbey.
