On Wednesday, April 24, the Lady Cougars hosted Bassett High School’s Lady Bengals. The Cougars worked hard but came up short, losing to the Bengals 2-3.
Gladis Quiroz and Sadie Vernon scored for the Cougars. Isabell Martin had 19 saves in the goal.
On Tuesday, April 23, they traveled to Magna Vista High School. While the Lady Cougars worked hard, they did not come home with a win. Patrick County was defeated by the Lady Warriors with a score of 2-4. Leslie Quiroz and Trinity Ratliff both scored for the Cougars and Martin had seven saves in goal.
On Thursday, April 18, the Cougars hosted the Lady Bulldogs from Martinsville High School. The Cougars fell short to the Bulldogs 1-0.
The Lady Cougars had 10 shots on goal, and Martin had six saves in the goal.
The lady Cougars are 4-4-1 so far in the season.
