The Girls Varsity Tennis Team lost a close 4-5 match against Halifax on Wednesday, April 19.
Patrick County was 1-5 in singles. Marissa Bentley (PC) fell to Christina Bruce 6-8, Mia Stowe (PC) defeated Myah Forest 8-3, Madison Mullis (PC) fell to Abigail Baisch 4-8, Cecilia Leon-Cisneros (PC) fell to Francesca Potenza 1-8, Katie Vernon (PC) fell to Meredith Duffer 0-8, Shyanne Holt (PC) fell to Kendall Crowder 0-8.
PC was 3-0 in doubles. Marissa Bentley/Mia Stowe (PC) defeated Christina Bruce/Myah Forest 8-5, Madison Mullis/Cecilia Leon-Cisneros (PC) defeated Abigail Baisch/Francesca Potenza 7-1 by tie break, and Katie Vernon/Shyanne Holt (PC) defeats Kamyjah Sprattley/Shanell Richardson 8-6.
