Grand jury hands down indictments

Forty people were indicted Monday by grand jurors seated in Patrick County.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, but a grand jury’s determination evidence exists for a trial.

Those named in the more than 100 indictments are:

  • Alvis McCray Foley Jr., attempted first degree murder, in connection with a Dec. 9 incident.
  • John Allen Brammer, possess or transport a weapon by a felon convicted within 10 years, in connection with an Oct. 15 incident.
  • Anthony Ray Haynes, disregard police command to stop, endangerment, in connection with a Dec. 28 incident.
  • Randall Scott Rhudy, disregard police command to stop, endangerment, in connection with an Oct. 9 incident.
  • Clyde Norman Sutphin, one count each possession of a concealed weapon (other than a firearm) by a convicted felon and possess or transport a weapon by a convicted felon, in connection with a Nov. 8 incident.
  • Brittany Renea Williams, shoplifting, third offense, in connection with a March 24, 2016 incident.
  • Johnny Dean Bevins, one count each adulteration of food, drink, etc., with intent to injure or kill; threaten to bomb or burn; strangulation, in connection with a Jan. 11 incident.
  • Timothy Walter White, malicious wounding, in connection with a Jan. 15 incident.
  • Jesus Davila Bailey III, fail to register as a sex offender, second or subsequent, in connection with incidents Oct. 29 through November 16.
  • Taylor Thomas Collins, larceny of firearm, in connection with a Sept. 22 incident.
  • Jay Thomas Goins, forge public record, in connection with a Feb. 6, 2016 incident.
  • Morgan Dawn Goins, statutory burglary, Dec. 29.
  • Justin Tanner Grove, three counts grand larceny; one count statutory burglary, Dec. 13.
  • William Chad Hawks, grand larceny – motor vehicle, in connection with a Dec. 10 incident.
  • Wendy Ann McCraw, threaten to bomb/burn, in connection with a June 4, 2015 incident.
  • Joshua Cade Mitchell, one count each grand larceny with intent to sell or distribute; grand larceny, in connection with a July 22 incident.
  • Pete Byron Sizemore, one count each grand larceny with intent to sell or distribute; grand larceny, in connection with a July 22 incident.
  • Scott Lee Sizemore, one count each grand larceny with intent to sell or distribute; grand larceny, in connection with a July 22 incident.
  • Angela Dawn Stump, bad checks – two within 90 days, in connection with incidents Sept. 22 and 26.
  • Michael James Lawson, assault law enforcement officer, in connection with a Dec. 20 incident.
  • Joshua Cardale Marshall, grand larceny of a motor vehicle, in connection with an Oct. 1 incident.
  • Tyler Aaron Lee Pearman, intentionally damage property, in connection with incidents Oct. 26 – Nov. 1.
  • Wendy Marie Tilley, shoplifting, in connection with a Jan. 26 incident.
  • Corey Laray Hairston, violation of the Habitual Offender Act, second or subsequent, in connection with a Feb. 27 incident.
  • Jeremy Brent Harvey, larceny of a motor vehicle, in connection with a Feb. 15 incident.
  • Chasity Michelle Woods, statutory burglary, in connection with an April 6 incident.
  • Bryant Gregory Bowman, possess Schedule I or II drugs, in connection with a Dec. 12 incident.
  • Elizabeth Dawn Carter, three counts each identity fraud; credit card fraud; obtain money by false pretense, in connection with incidents December, 2014 through June 2015.
  • Jasmyn Elizabeth Carter, three counts each identity fraud; credit card fraud; obtain money by false pretense, in connection with incidents December, 2014 through June 2015.
  • Brittany Nicole Dickerson, one count each malicious wounding, make/possess unauthorized weapon while an inmate, in connection with an April 11 incident.
  • Lisa Ann Haas, four counts welfare perjury, in connection with incidents between April, 2012 and March, 2013.
  • Frances Goins Hill, false report to police, in connection with an April 19 incident.
  • Lonnie Lee Howell, possess Schedule I or II drugs, in connection with an Oct. 29 incident.
  • Courtney Jane Kinney, one count each credit card theft, credit card fraud, identity theft, in connection with a May 13 incident.
  • Sonya Tullock Manring, seven counts welfare perjury; six counts welfare fraud, in connection with 2014 – 2017 incidents.
  • Sarah Danielle Ratcliffe, possess Schedule I or II drugs, in connection with a Jan. 30 incident.
  • Mary Ann Turner, embezzlement, in connection with incidents between April 10 and May 3.
  • Christina Fusair Mullins, also known as Christina Marie Gwin, bigamy, in connection with a March 26, 2016 incident.
  • Eric Lippin, three counts indecent liberties; two counts aggravated sexual battery and one count object sexual penetration, in connection with 2011-2013 incidents.
  • Jamie Christopher Sutton, five counts aggravated sexual battery; four counts forcible sodomy; two counts indecent liberties; one count each rape, produce child porn, prostitution and child abuse, in connection with 2016 incidents.
