Golf Digest has recognized The Highland Course at Primland on its 2019 list of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses and 2019 Best Golf Courses in Virginia. The Highland Course, designed by Donald Steel, ranks No. 30 on the 2019 top 100 list and No. 5 in the state. Primland’s ranking in Golf Digest’s 100 Greatest Public Courses marks the course’s fifth consecutive appearance on this prestigious list.
These recognitions add to the resort’s growing list of recent golf accolades, which includes its rankings in the 2019 Top 100 Resort Golf Courses (No. 31) and 2019 Best Courses You Can Play (No. 2 in Virginia), and Golfscape’s list of the World’s Top 100 Golf Courses (No. 28) and in the United States (No. 8).
