Last chance to view exhibit, free gallery talk on July 18

Art at Happy Hour offers Piedmont Arts guests a final chance to view Expressions 2019 before the exhibit closes. 

Enjoy refreshments and a free tour  on Thursday, July 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the museum.

Offering an eclectic mix of styles and media, Expressions is an open-entry judged art exhibit featuring 191 works by 104 regional artists. This year’s exhibition was judged by Jeff Liverman, executive director of Floyd Center for the Arts in Floyd.

Now through July 18, visitors to the museum can vote for their favorite piece on display in Expressions. The winning work will receive the 2019 People’s Choice Award, which will be announced during Art at Happy Hour.

Art at Happy Hour is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments provided by the Piedmont Arts Guild.

Expressions 2019 will be on display at Piedmont Arts through July 19. 

Piedmont Arts is located at 215 Starling Avenue, Martinsville. Museum hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. Learn more at www.PiedmontArts.org.
