A fairly new volunteer, Debbie Iacobucci, was named the Reynolds Homestead Volunteer of the Month for January.
Iacobucci truly hit the ground running after discovering the homestead through the sign on the highway. Originally from Greensboro, N.C., she has called Spencer, Va., home for the past four and a half years and quickly became drawn to helping with events and learning about Homestead’s rich history.
Iacobucci generously gives her time volunteering and is also currently training to become a docent to share her growing love for the history of this special place. When she’s not at the Reynolds Homestead, she enjoys gardening, sewing, cooking, baking, and caring for her beloved bees and chickens.
