James Euel Foddrell, 63, of Greensboro, N.C., died Wednesday, July 20,2016, at Moses Cone Hospital.
He was born in Stuart on August 10, 1952, and was a son of the late Marvin Ralph and Eloise Foddrell. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ray Foddrell; and sister, Goldie May Turner Nichols.
He was a graduate of Stuart High School, a proud Marine and veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Guilford College and Randolph Community College.
He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 2012 after 30 years of service.
Surviving are his loving wife Linda; one brother, Donnie Foddrell and wife Betty; and a sister-in-law, Jennie Foddrell.
The funeral will be held today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home Chapel, 909 E. Market St., Greensboro. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. prior to service.
