Thank you Patrick County. Twenty-five equivalent units of blood were collected, seventeen whole blood units and four double-red units. There were two double-red machines available and a full complement of Red Cross staff.
This month’s average wait-time, from “arrival to table,” was 29 minutes.
Thanks to ALL donors who took time out of their day to do their part to help others in need. Always remember, every donor counts and is gratefully appreciated. Every person who presents makes a difference.
Please thank our devoted volunteers who worked so hard to make this blood drive special. They were Denise Clark, Patty Brunner, Jesse Mae Vernon, Mary Lou Hall, Juanita Mitchell, Jack Vestal, Betty Holt and Judi Sanburn.
Thank you, Stuart Rotary Club, a second-year sponsor, for sponsoring this month’s blood drive. Without our sponsors it would just be another blood drive.
Next month’s blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, at Rotary Field in the John D. Hooker Memorial Building from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Give blood …. Give life. Make a difference in your life as well as others in need.
Thank you again, Patrick County, for making the June drive a success.
