JV Baseball Gets Win

Calvin Lancaster got the win for the Cougars.

The JV Cougar Baseball Team Patrick rode the arms of Calvin Lancaster and David Lawson to a 12-0 win at Dan River March 20. Lancaster threw 4 innings, allowing 1 hit while striking out 6. Lawson came in for the final 2 frames, allowing no hits and striking out 4. The Cougars headed into the 5th with a 3 run lead, and exploded for 5 runs behind RBIs by Christian Hylton, Easton Harris and Chad Corns. Lawson led the hitting attack with 2 hits and an RBI. Harris had a hit with 3 RBIs, while Chance Corns had 2 RBI’s.  Lancaster, Jaiden Wilson, and Hylton all scored 2 runs for the Cougars.
