Last Monday the Patrick County High School boys’ JV soccer team traveled to Christiansburg High School and tied with Christiansburg 3-3. The JV Cougars went into half time with a 3-0 lead. Christiansburg battled back, tying the game.
“We made some mental mistakes that allowed Christiansburg back in the game. Nate Scott scored two goals for the Cougars and Seth Wright scored on a PK,” said Coach Oscar Tejeda.
The JVs came up with a big win over Halifax 2-0 last Thursday. They played a hard match and were able to hold on to the lead and scored a put away goal.
