The Patrick County High School JV Cougars started off strong against the North Stokes Vikings last Thursday night, taking a 47-6 football victory.
For the last several games, DaeShawn Penn, Jaylan Linster, Carson Merriman, Jayse Turner, Caleb Kenyon, and Will Sprowl have been finding the end zone.
Defensively, Wyatt Argo has forced a fumble and picked off a pass. Desmond McClain also intercepted a pass. The defensive line held the Viking offense to minimal yards. During the second half, the Cougar defense held strong giving up only one 20-yard touchdown pass.
By the end of the night, all the JV players contributed to a solid win over North Stokes with a score of 47-6.
