Last Monday the Patrick County High School junior varsity Lady Cougar volleyball team picked up two wins.

They defeated Tunstall Monday night in two sets, 26-24 and 25-19. Suzanne Gonzalez had five kills, and Julianna Overby added nine assists.

Thursday at Halifax, PC won in two sets, 25-23 and 25-14. Lauren Largen scored five aces, Julianna Overby had seven assists, and Mackenzie Belcher made five digs.

This week the Lady Cougars hosted George Washington of Danville Monday night. Tuesday, they traveled to Martinsville; Thursday they travel to Magna Vista.
