Patrick County lost a close one to Magna Vista at home on Thursday, April 11.
Lainie Hopkins took the 6-8 loss striking out five and walking two. Emily Helms led the Cougars offensively going three for four with a double. She also hit the first home run for the Cougars this season.
Hopkins was four for four at the plate with a triple and two doubles. Tessa Haas went three for three with a double and a triple.
The Cougars lost 13-4 to Franklin County at home on Tuesday, April 9. Brooke Meade took the loss in the circle for the Cougars. Samantha Harris was three for four at the plate with two doubles and Abby Compton was three for four with one triple and one single.
