JV team loses three in a row

The JV volleyball team travelled to Chatham on Monday, September 13, losing in three sets:14-25, 25-21, 8-15.  

Bryley Pike had 5 aces, 5 kills, and 9 digs. Eliza Clifton had 4 aces, 2 kills, and 2 assists. Journey Moore had 4 aces and 4 digs, and Camille Gonzalez had 8 assists and 3 kills. 

On Tuesday, September 14, the Lady Cougars hosted the Lady Buffaloes of Floyd County, losing in two sets, 20-25 and 14-25. Bryley Pike lead the Lady Cougars with 4 kills and 1 ace. Camille Gonzalez had 10 assists, Eliza Clifton had 3 aces and 2 kills, and Journey Moore had 8 digs and 2 aces. 

Magna Vista travelled to Stuart Thursday, September 16, beating Patrick County in straight sets, 15-25 and 24-26. Sophie Scruggs had 6 kills and 1 ace, Journey Moore had 10 digs, 3 kills, and 1 ace, and Camille Gonzalez had 14 assists, 2 kills, and 1 ace.
