Kathryn Ann Hatcher Gwynn, age 58, of Ararat, died Friday, April 22, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
She was born in Surry County, N.C., on September 23, 1957 and was a daughter of Ruby Bryant Hatcher and the late Walter William Hatcher. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Hatcher.
She was a caregiver for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Clinton Gwynn; one grandson, Dustin Levi Stevens; her mother, Ruby Hatcher; a stepson, Shane Gwynn; sisters, Bonnie Holt, Alice Crotts; and brothers, Eddie Hatcher, Kenneth Hatcher, Chris Hatcher and Jerry Hatcher.
A graveside service was held Sunday at Gwynn Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, N.C.
