The Patrick County Lady Cougars traveled to the Smith River Soccer Complex Saturday to compete in the Bassett Bengal Soccer Bash. The Lady Cougars were 1-1-1 on the day.
In the first game, PC defeated Altavista 2-1 with Taylor Williams and Lydia Gunter scoring.
The Lady Cougars lost to Magna Vista 1-0 in the second game.
Lydia Gunter scored once more in the third game to tie Floyd County 1-1.
“I thought we did a good job for our first time out this year,” said Coach Sandra Rakes.
The Lady Cougars host Floyd County Monday at 5:30 p.m. for the first home match of the season.
