Lady Cougar Softball defeats Tunstall

The Lady Cougars hosted the Lady Trojans of Tunstall on Tuesday, May 25.

Patrick County took a 12-9 win on a walk-off homerun by Abigail Epperson.

Epperson, Katherine Beckett, and Brooke Meade all pitched for the Cougars. The three combined for 7 strikeouts in the victory.

Danielle King went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs at the plate. Epperson was 2 for 3 with a double and a homerun with 4 RBIs. Gracelyn Hubbard, Samantha Harris, and Laine Hopkins had 2 hits each.

The Lady Cougars had 15 hits.

Patrick County will host Halifax on Thursday, June 3.
