The PCHS Varsity Softball Team traveled to Floyd, Thursday, March 26, falling to the Lady Buffaloes 0-9. The game was tight after 5 innings with a 1-0 score, but the Buffaloes had an 8 run 6th inning to take the win. Chloe Hubbard, Hayden Lawless, Aubreigh Large, and Lacey Sutphin each put hits on the board. Friday, March 27, The Lady Cougars traveled to Bassett, defeated the Lady Bengals 20-2. Hayden Lawless got the win in the circle, and Journey Moore and Gracie Marshall finished the game. The Cougars had 11 hits on the night. Moore, Lawless, and Jenna Woods all had 2 hits each. Meredith Wood, Ava Hiatt, and Gracie Marshall each had hits.
