The Patrick County High School Lady Cougar tennis team hosted its last home match against Magna Vista last Wednesday.
Madalyn McFarlane, Patrick County’s only senior, was honored at the match.
“The Cougars played their hearts out and suffered a tough loss to Magna Vista, 3-6,” said Coach Megan Richardson. “Congratulations to Shyann Walter, Hannah Martin, and Helen Dawson for winning their singles matches,” she added.
Last Thursday, the Lady Cougar tennis team traveled to Martinsville. Both teams only finished their doubles matches before being rained out. The Cougars lost 1-2.
