The Patrick County High School Lady Cougar Tennis team traveled to Franklin County for a scrimmage match last Thursday and lost to the Lady Eagles 1-8.
Coach Megan Richardson expressed congratulations to Helen Dawson for winning her singles match 10-6. She also congratulated Shyann Walter and Hannah Martin who had a close doubles match, losing 5-8.
The Lady Cougars were slated to host Bassett yesterday (Tuesday).
