The Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Floyd County, Thursday, September 10, to take on the Lady Buffaloes. The Lady Cougars won in 3 with set scores 25-18, 25-23, and 25-19.
Madi Martin led the way with 8 kills. Kendra Penn added 6 kills and 5 digs. Brooklyn Barner added 5 kills.
Bailey Thompson had 6 kills and 9 digs. Chloe Hubbard had 14 digs, and Reese Horton had 13 digs. Meredith Wood had 14 assists, 3 aces, and 8 digs. Jenna Woods added 13 assists and 8 digs.
The Lady Cougars fell to Carroll County, Tuesday, September 8, losing in 3 with set scores 23-25, 19-25, and 17-25. Freshman Reese Horton led the way for the Cougars with 20 digs and 2 aces. Freshman Bailey Thompson had 10 kills and 8 digs. Meredith Wood added 24 assists, 8 digs, and 4 aces.
