With less than five minutes remaining in the game, Williams once again drove to the goal after receiving a pass from Taylor Worley the put PC ahead 4-3.
The Lady Warriors were unable to counter the last Lady Cougar score, ending the game with a Lady Cougar victory, 4-3.
“We played very well,” said Coach Sandra Rakes. Both offense and defense did a great job,” she added.
Magna Vista out-shot us by a couple of shots, but our defense was able to keep them out of the goal. We beat them on the 50/50 balls, and that was a key to our win,” Rakes added.
