The Patrick County Varsity Softball Team hosted Halifax on Tuesday, losing 4-13. The first two innings were neck and neck for the Lady Cougars and the Lady Comets. The Lady Comets threatened in both the first and second innings, having runners in scoring positions. Good pitching from Katherine Beckett and good defense held them from scoring.
