The Patrick County High School Lady Cougar volleyball team won one match and lost two during last week’s competition schedule.

Monday, they lost in three sets to Carroll County at home. The scores were 19-25, 15-25, 17-25.

Sydney Biggs scored nine kills, nine digs, and nine aces. Shelby Bryant had nine assists, four kills and six digs.

Tuesday night the Lady Cougars beat North Stokes in three sets, 25-21, 25-19, 25-20.

Sydney Biggs slams home a kill shot for a point in last Monday’s game against Carroll County.

Shelby Bryant had eight kills and eight assists, while Sydney Biggs had six kills and 16 digs.

The Lady Cougars lost to Carroll County in four sets on the road Thursday night. The scores were 20-25, 14-25, 25-20 and 27-29.

Morgan Biggs had 11 kills and four blocks. Sydney Biggs had nine kills and 16 digs while Jenna King had 21 digs.

Ashlee Mesot and Taylor Vernon had 12 assists a piece.

The Lady Cougars played at Floyd Tuesday evening and will play at North Stokes Thursday with the varsity match starting at 7 p.m.
